I have a small guiding service in Schroon Lake NY in the Adirondacks. It is mostly drifting the Schroon River in a small boat north of Schroon Lake for smallmouth bass fishing. One person accommodation in the boat, plus the guide of course, and for the most part for experienced fisherman who are more interested in seeking out the fish, rather than having a guide essentially put the fish on the hook for them. Fishing is light to light/medium spinning, however I can accommodate fly fisherman if they bring their own fly fishing gear.

I have been fishing the Adirondacks extensively since my youth and am a certified and licensed NY State Fishing Guide and also certified by the state in the use of small boats, canoes and kayaks. Trips are typically up to 4 hours, usually a little less and certainly weather and season dependent. Since I also have to work in the ‘real world’, guiding is a part time business for me, so please try to plan ahead if you want to book something.
